WELCOME! (for the thousanth time! ^ - ^)
I'm just your ordinary otaku. I watch animes and read mangas but now, I'm going to talk about them! Using my limitless (pfft hahahaha) knowlege, I'll help inform you, parents, teens, and everyone else, about the anime world!
For those of you who don't know, Otaku - Nerd or Fanatic. Recently used as a person who is obsessed with anime.
Picture 1) The two blond kids? Their names are Rin and Len Kagamine. Rin is the girl (or the one with rounded eyes and the bunny-ears bow) and Len is the boy (or the one invading Rin's personal space.) These two cuties are actually computer programs. DO NOT GO LOOKING FOR THE ANIME THEY ARE FROM BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT FROM AN ANIME! Once upon a time, an English company came up with the program Vocaloid. It was a voice sythasizer. Unfortunately, it wasn't very good, so the Swedish adopted it and made it better. It was not popular... at all. Then, the kind Japanese took the poor program in, exploded the thing with millions of characters and voices, and made it popular.
Picture 2) The first thing that comes to mind when you think fangirl? Meet Ichigo. She's uh... special. The anime she comes from is Tokyo Mew Mew which was done by Studio Perriot (Gee, I hope I spelled that right). This anime is specifically geared towards girls ages 10-15 to women ages 20- ∞. It is incredibly cute, so beware.
Picture 3) PIKACHU! A pokemon.... Specifically pokemon #025. This pikachu is one of many. Pikachu is most commonly known for it's role as Ash's (the main character of the anime) partner.
